Welcome to FM MM and you've helped me already 
I've got two Mitchell Matches tucked away at the back of a drawer too, if I remember rightly, I stopped using them when the bail arms stopped fully closing when you turned the handle.
I think they will stay at the back of the drawer for now, modern fixed spools are as good if not better I believe. Who knows, my old MM's might be worth something one day...
