Just come back from an afternoon on the Dane. Lovely swim - crease on far bank running in front of overhanging trees. Yes straight from the Ideal Swim Exhibition. Fed bread crumb. Fished flake on the lead. Lovely afternoon, wildlife splendid. Fed crumb, fished flake. Dusk falls, see an owl. Fed crumb, fished flake. Notice dimple on surface of flat, shallow slow swim inside to left. fed nothing, lobbed bit of bread in general direction. Caught chub - 1lb....and a bit.

me jealous!!!
