It does look like the fish is at arms length, and much closer to the camera(size of fingers, pic distortion etc...). But there is no weight claimed for the fish, so nobody is trying to con anyone really, are they;-)

I'm thinkin it may be digitally enhanced. Could always be wrong though. The size of the fingers and the fact that he isn't struggling to hold it at arms length??

I'm with you Jonny, the 'fish and fingers' look like they've been superimposed.

The contrast of the fish and the angler seem's wrong.

Definately been digitally altered. Used of clonning tool tool or rubber bstamp tool.
Can tell by looking at the tail and the water around the tail.

Yeh the pic looks dodgy to me. Why do people feel the need to do this?
