Witham chub 4.75lb

What a week,Wednesday i finally land my first barbel then on saturday had a session roaming the upper witham with a mate of mine and broke my chub p.b twice in 3 casts!
This is a 4.75lb followed by one of bang on 5lb but the photo of the 5 isnt so good but i have a great memory of it!
Took some keeping out the snags on 4lb line! Great way to try out my new stradic reel!
All in all probably the best fishing week of my life and just want to say thank you to everyone on F.M as you have all helped my angling no end with some great advice.
Roll on the 16th!!!

Cracking result Paul, brings back happy memories for me. Forty odd years ago I spent many days on the upper Witham chub chasing/stalking, well done mate.
