Countryfile 2011 calendar

[Colin North the one and only]

My wife Sue, a member here, has a photo in the final 12 selections for the 2011 calendar. It was shown last night on BBC, and can be viewed on the BBC Iplayer or the website BBC - BBC One Programmes - Countryfile - Countryfile Photographic Competition 2010. Its the water vole if you are interested. Public voting finishes at mid-night on 26th September

Wow! I watched that last night and was thinking to myself, "How the hell does someone get such a brilliant shot of a water vole." What an accolade for the missus Colin! I hope she wins.

Maybe not the winner but Sue Norths pic was to me an outstanding snap , I must admit I fancied the sheep one right from the start...............

Just a funny....I was watching last night when the winning photograph was announced, the problem was, I had my reading glasses on, I genuinely thought that the winning photograph was of a caterpillar until I put my normal glasses on...DOH !!!.
