Section of Fishery or river stretch: Derwent hotel, Whatstandwell.
Date: 02/10/05
Time fished: 14:00 - 16:30
Weather conditions: cloudy with patches of sun
Water conditions: From what I could gather they were normal.
Air temperature: 9-10
Water Temperature: Unknown
Bait: 14mm Marine Halibut Pellet
Method: Swimfeeder with 6mm and 14mm pellets and Marine Halibut Pellet groundbait.
Results: 2 x Chub both around 6lbs.
Brief description of the session & remarks: Went looking for barbel, but was happy with two healthy chub in such a short time.

Time fished:7.30 am-4.30pm
Weather conditions:mild,no wind,slight drizzle,
water conditions:river up 2" carrying slight tinge of colour.
Air temperature:9
Water Temperature:not known
Bait:red and white maggot
Method:stick,feeder
Results:18*trout to 1lbs 8 oz 9*grayling to 1lbs 1* dace about 3 oz!
Brief description of the session & remarks:lovely weather great river conditions,quite surprised by lack of grayling over pound,but wondering weather river conditions were more suitable to trout? never caught so-many in one sitting.
where-as seam to do better with grayling when river is clear and air is cold?
