Water conditions: Water level dropping some colour.

Method: Feeder.
Results: 1.5 lb Perch ands some bits.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: Stretch fished badly due to high wind. One smash take as wind dropped at 8pm, fish lost.

Near Myton 0n Swale

Time Fished: 6.30 am to 3.00 pm
Weather: Overcast mild
Water: 2 foot up, good colour
Water Temp: 14 deg C
Bait: Luncheon Meat flavoured with Double T special.
Method: 2 oz flat Double T lead, hair rigged meat. Layed out a bed of Trigga pellets.
Result: 1 x 81/2lb barbel and 1 x 91/2 lb barbel.

Fished in a lovely crease between two have sunken willows. Gently lobbed out the rig into the crease then payed out line upstream to where I was sitting. I have not fished the Swale since the 60s this was a great return session.

Result: 1 x 4 lb barbel 1 x 3 lb chub

My frind John took some nice roach and dace on the Stick as well as a 21/2lb perch.
Should have taken maggots and fished nearer the weir.

Results: 1 Pike 17lb and 1 Barbel 6lb.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: Stretch fished very slow with only two bits on feeder rod. Barbel taken on maggot and Pike on dead bait.

Results: 4 chub to @ 41b.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: First visit to this stretch, it looked nice and got snapped first cast on corn on 4lb strait thru.
Maggot was a waste of time as there must be more minnows on this stretch than anywhere but the chub bites on corn were positive whacks.

Method: Feeder.
Results: 2 eels to 3lb.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: Stretch fished very slowly with only three bits on feeder rod. Eels taken on worm and only a few Perch taken by other anglers.

Bait: Maggot, caster, sweetcorn loose fed hemp.
Method: quiver tip, free running leger.
Results: 2lb-1oz Perch.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: FM Swale fish-in. Never fished the Swale before, I'll be back, very nice river with lots of interesting swims. Nice to meet some of the lads off the forum.

Results: 1 Pike 8lb.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: Stretch fished very badly with no bits on feeder rod. Pike taken on Herring dead bait. One pike lost about the same size.
Lots of people fishing and no one caught.

Results: 1 chub @ 2lb some small chublets and dace. A nice dace that weighed 13 oz was the highlight.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: Fishing was very slow but this was mirrored by the other anglers we spoke to none of whom had caught.

Results: 1 x 5.5lb Barbel, 1 x 6lb Bream. PB.
Brief description of the session and any remarks: Stretch fished slowly with only two takes. Bream on Caster/Maggot and Barbel on Meat. Wind strengthened about 6pm and killed it stone dead.
