Rubber Eels

Has anyone used rubber eels (eddystones or redgills) for perch/jacks. I was thinking of adding an eel body to the trace and attaching a little mepps or rublex so that the eel sits on its head. It looked great to me but I'm not a fish!

I have seen Redgills and the newer Jellytex eels used for pike and zander....and they work!

They wer nounded for trolling on a fast sink fly line and were used at Grafaam. Basically, they are on a wire trace, but with extra flashabou and marabou ties in for and aft. They work a treat!!
