dead baiting?

i know a river with a lot of good pike!!!
Do you think they would give me some good sport on and after june 16th ?thats dead baiting by the way....please..help......

Summer pike and deads don't mix well, 9 times out of 10 they really take them quick and the danger of deep hooking is high. Even very experienced pikers will have trouble so I'd advocate leaving the pike alone if deads are the method you want to use, save them until the Winter.

I havent really had any success with pike on deads or lures in summer. I live in Preston so only fish locally i dont no what its like anywhere else.

stick to the plastics.

if you must use bait then Lives and make sure your rigs are 100% in the respect of giving instant indication.
