Muskellunge

Hi there

Has anyone out there ever been Muskellunge fishing and if so have they tried any of our UK type techniques static dead's, roving lives etc etc.

Never been Muskie fishing but would assume that as they are of the same family as the Pike (Esox Masquinongy as against Esox Lucius) with very similar feeding habits, that similar techniques should work.

I have friends in the U.S. who fly fish and lure fish for muskies in NY State and across towards the great lakes which seems to work for them.

I guess most predatory fish will take a roving live bait.
