Hi all, my freind recently brought a small boat and living so close to the Thames were thinking of of fishing from it, when the season opens again.
Mainly do carp fishing but in winter I trot on small rivers for anything, with both of these methods not ideal for boat fishing, I thought of lure fishing.
Now I've never done predetor fishing before but have found a bit of information on it, for lure fishing it said your likely to catch pike, perch, zander, chub, grayling, trout and salmon. I also found that its suggested that 6ft rods with multipiler reels are best for fishing from a boat.
I know you can't be to fussy when lure fishing but I like the sound of catching the perch and chub. Can anyone suggest some articles i can look at that involve lure fishing for perch and chub?
Also any other tips like what rods/multipilers would be ideal for the samaller predeters, location, tactics etc, would be very grateful
