So I have a daiwa arid 14-45g and promax baitcaster. Just so you know I am happy with the combo I'm using at the min. I specially love the rod.

I'm looking to get an Abu Garcia ambassador but am at a loss as to what rod to pair it with, as I'm sure you guess by the reel choice it's going to be a heavy lure setup. Ideally I would like 50-150g or as close too. Needs a relatively stiff tip to cast and work those 100g+ lures....

LHW or not bothered?
6500's are very popular on the beach for casting but of course were originally designed for spinning for salmon. You can go the whole hog and get mag brakes etc. if you want.

I would be looking for LHW with regards to the reel at lease.

I have tried RHW and just cant get to grips with it at all. Just feels unnatural
