Thanks Lads, I honestly thought I would get a Perch nearer to 5lbs at the end of the season, I know most of you know the reason I did not fish that much after November, but the health issues have put everything into perspective.
The Lee Navigation is open to anyone for the price of a day ticket, find the silver fish and you find the Perch, they can turn up anywhere and do !!
Plenty of the lads I fish with prefere to use worms, maggots and prawns, I think I get the best results from small livebaits, everyone to their own, its really about finding a method your happy with and converting the bites to fish on the bank.
