Is size important?

Lets face it lads... when it comes to catching I like the bigger girls more than a Jack... though I think it's important to match what you got to satisfy the ones you intend catching right?

Just not too sure about these...

It must be! In a free supplement entitled" Predator" there are lures by Savage Gear called 4D line thru trout in various sizes starting at 25cm and weighing 183g to 40cm lures weighing 685g !!!!! What kind of rod will cast a lure weighing 685g and 40 cm in length and then retrieve it? I cannot imagine that except in a trolling context with a heavy boat rod where the momentum of the boat pulls the lure!

I don't think anyone much likes a jack pike? They ruin my favourite river roach swims and there's more than 9ne down there. Get a big girl in and she's normally on her own, at least when she nabs my roach, she normally leaves me alone for the rest of the day.
