Drop shot 5cm lures

Just wondering what the best hook size would be?

hook shank should be 1/3 the length of the lure. Sometimes 1/4 the length but rarely 1/2. This I'm assuming are for soft plastics rigged on jigs such as:

Thanks for that, i just found this Choosing a HeadlockZ jighead for your ZMan plastic – Tackle Tactics. Not the lures in question but size 1 and 2 seems to be the one?

The above are not drop shot set ups.

You can use a variety of regular hooks or ones dedicated for drop shotting like these.

For a 5cm sized lure I would opt for one of the smaller sizes but it’s worth having a range of sizes, it’s surprising just how perch will often take the largest of hooks when they are in full hunt mode.

Kamasan b983 size 6 or 8.
Cheap and just as effective as the custom made drop shot hooks.
