Linear Fisheries

I am thinking of trying Linear for the first time, and was wondering if anybody had fished there and what lake would be the best to try first?

I have fished there before for carp and never had a touch, every time i went it seemed to hav just finished producing a vast ammount of fish to everyone but went dead the day before i arrived and no one on the place caught anything the whole time i was there.
There are supposed to be some nice pike in St johns lake and i think there may be some cat fish in one of them. one thing i do know is the bailif is probably on of the most helpful people in the country if you can get him talking.

Thanks Jason, I`ll give it a go and see what happens.
I know the pike record is over 31lb and they have had cats over 63lb

Fished Linear at Stanton Harcourt for 3 years, 1995 to 1998. Had some tremendous fishing there.

I wouldn't go there any more - carp have taken over!
