Does anyone know of a company that manufactures small crankbaits/jerkbaits/topwaters(say maximum of 2 inches) that are heavy enough to cast a fair distance. I would be looking for something in the region of 10-15g upwards???

Robin,
look at the Lure rods thread for Rob Thompsons phone numbers.
I know nothing about these things, but I know his office looks like my xmas tree.

It is possible to drill a small hole in plastic lures and fill them with vegtable oil to give them weight but not adversly effect there bouyancy. Works well on Burts. Might also work on smaller lures. U seal the hole with a small self tapping screw.
