Favourite starter

What is the lure that everyone likes to start a session off with, we all have favourites but in my experience I tend to favour certain lures especailly at the start of a session?

Personally I like to start with a silver Mepps Aglia No 4 or 5. I find it a really good all rounder throughout the season for both Perch and Pike.

I guess I start with an Orange and brown skirted, copper bladed spinner bait. This means i can find snags without losing the lure. Then I switch to mabe a monnow bait such as a Bomber...then I Jerk bait with a Trout or Perch coloured Flipper
