    Default river levels

if you want to know what the river is doing before you go this is the website you need

Environment Agency - River and sea levels

It has to be said that to be of alot of use you need to know your river, for instance i fish the dove at doveridge where the normal level is 0.79m, i know that anything over the 1m level makes fishing very difficult at this time of year when the is no weed to hold back the flow and i normally wouldn't bother to go down. However the graphs do give you an idea of wether the river is rising or dropping and wether it is worth leaving the house for a long drive.
