fished the river yesterday for about 45 mins) from about 7.15 am had a 3lb and 5lb barbel 2 casts 2 fish unfortunately due to the persistant rain shower and stepness of the banks became to dangerous for me and dangerous for any fish i would have landed as if i slipped could have injured the majestic barbel.
moved to below ferry at hampton loade lot of water running through as a 3oz grippa lead would not hold and only 1 lost bite in 4 hrs
