Repairing a graphite reel?

Can anyone give me advice on what glue will repair a broken graphite reel?

Tough question to start with. Have you got pictures of the break, crack, split, whatever it is?

Jeff ois right - we need to know what's been broken. But if it's a spool, buy a new spool. If it's the side-casing of a reel, I suspect epoxy would work if you clamped the thing tight while it cured. If it's a reel stem, new reel.

Depends of what the object is, and the mechanical strength it needs to survive the next cast....

I wouldn't even try to repair a modern reel.

Get a good one and look after it.
