Hi all

This week I stupidly snapped the top piece of my Acolyte 13ft float rod. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement top piece?

Thanks

First port of call is your friendly local Drennan stockist. They should be able to get one for you in fairly short order.

If you struggle with your local shops, you can just about contact Drennan direct. However, it's not easy as they prefer not to deal direct with the public. It's usually the stuff of last resort.

£70 all in...ouch

Single sections are usually significantly more than you might expect them to be. However, even if you just divide the rod's RRP by three (simplistic but not too far off the mark. Tip sections have an awful lot less carbon but an awful lot more rings), you've got a price of £56.66. Some manufacturers would charge an awful lot more than £70.

If you really want ouch, break a section of a pole. You soon realise how good value many pole packages are when you try to replace an individual section.
