hi have not wet a line for a while i have a basic sea set up and am going to newbiggin in a few weeks where would be good for a couple of hrs fishing

Assuming that you mean Newbiggin by the sea in Northumberland, what type of fishing are you wanting? It's a bit of a coarse fishing desert up there, but there's plenty of game angling. If it's the salty stuff that floats your boat, a sea angler I know keeps singing the praises of both beach and boat angling in the general area.

Felton Fence Fishery is the only commercial type coarse fishery that I've heard of up there.

predator on the tyne also sara jfk on the tyne also cracking boats newbiggun try the beacons park at the golf club and walk till you hit the big flat rocksw about 15 mins walk north heavy ground

One of my old friends in Ashington reckoned that Newbiggin was the 'wrecking' capital of the NorthEast in years gone by!
