Fishing on the Isle of Mull

Hi guys,

I am heading to the Isle of Mull for a week in mid August and was wondering if anyone had any advice, tips etc.

I am a pretty novice sea fisherman, much more used to fly and coarse fishing. I will be staying all around the island and am more than happy to travel for fishing. I will be going with my girlfriend so wont be able to fish constantly but hoping for a few hours a day (if lucky).

I will be staying in Tobermory, Calgary Bay and at Fidden Farm so far but may try some other areas.

Anything from bait and tackle recommendations to areas to fish would be great.

Ed,

get a day out on one of the Skate fishing boats. it is THE place for massive skate.

the dock/pier on the front also has deep water if you have a pier rod. worth spinning at night around the harbour front.
