I have been wanting to go fly fishing for bass from my boat for a while can anybody tell me if it is better from the drift or at anchor

Never done that but i would suggest anchoring [quitely] for 10-15 minutes then lengthen the rope or move along 20 or 30 yards and keep repeating this procedure until you get p****d off or you catch one.
