    Re: Drennan 10/11ft bomb rod

I would say something like a Diawa Ninja 2500 or a Shimano equivalent , 2500 or 3000 . I use mine mainly for perch fishing in slacker water , down the side in the Severn . At 10 foot it's also handy...

    Re: Drennan 10/11ft bomb rod

    Re: Drennan 10/11ft bomb rod

    Re: Drilled bullets

I drilled a few out a little to around 2.5 mm and put a bit of silicon tube through to save the line ; I wouldn't use them in a snag pit but they work ok on the Severn

I have a Cralusso Surf float , being a bit of a sucker for a gimmick .As Sam says they take some practice to master and feel odd when you do catch something , never really had the patience .

    Re: Slider float fishing

more float legering Mike , for one thing you don't really strike through the float . I would say give it a go , it's a nice way to fish especially on deeper waters

Re: What type of fishing are you really bad at?

I was the same with the lures, I used to fish a mere near me that was like tap water , I'd regularly catch 20 or 30 perch and a few pike , colour in the water and I really struggle.
