    Re: Hemp.

I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never fished with hemp or tares as hookbait. I’ve tried the odd grain of hemp but never had a bite.
Works for me in my groundbait

    Re: Self hooking rigs ?

I also wondered if the hair rig itself is self hooking, I thought I’d read somewhere it was designed to catch on the bottom lip as the baits sucked in-or blown out as fish do. ?

Re: Does anyone buy fishing tackle from Ebay ?

eBay hides bidders ID’s now they have done for a long time.
Some bidders have private settings because they buy and sell on one account, equally some sellers I believe can set it to private due to...

    Re: Bargains. Let us know.

Reduced it by some more (£75) obviously wants a quick sale. I’d offer a cheeky £65 if I was interested.

Re: Does anyone buy fishing tackle from Ebay ?

My local tackle shop carry’s very little for lure fishing but it’s not my main passion in the sport so not a problem. Tbh I’m not much good with lures and rarely catch when I try.

    Re: Guru rig case

I use a stonfo one portafinoli 200 I think it’s called. Slim and light.
Suits my needs has various pegs inside. I don’t do over long hook lengths anyway so about 8” is the longest it will take.

Re: Feeding fish in winter ?

It’s also worth remembering that a pond is a relatively small body of water for the amount of fish in it. So it’s proportionally more easy to imbalance the water quality by over feeding than it is on...
