    Re: Any Daiwa 120M experts?

I have the later 125m which has an independent drag system with a knob located at the rear of the reel body.

It sounds like your 120m operates much the same as the Abus as you say. Why not test it...

Re: How to deal with a Pike on the bank ?

Firstly you’ve done well to respect the risks of landing a pike, i was (still am) quite a way off from being confident handling the toothy critters. I was lucky in landing my very first pike of 8lb...

It was good to hear keen sea angler Farage talking (moaning) about this on his LBC show last Sunday (a light entertainment show, nothing to do with politics:)) he recommended that the extinction...

I do hope we get at least one more calm spell before October is out, I’d like to thrash out a few lures in search of a bass before putting the rod away til next Summer.:(

    Re: Chub and the future

Reading these posts makes me realise how lucky I am to have a few decent chub in my local Stour, however, they are under threat with fish traps and long lines being used recently by a group of EE’s....

Bargain? I think I’ve just had the sale of the century.

A few days ago I ordered a NGT Dynamic trolley off Ebay for £75, I chose the click and collect service and opted for my local Sainsbury’s.
