    My experince of fishing the Severn in the summer was that fishing during the day was very slow until the evening when the fishing turned on big time

    I used to fish the severn regulariliy , if any water is released from the resevoir in wales it was the kiss of death , the bite totaly shut down

    reliable engine and an extended good weather lets me take my small boat 30-40 miles offshore , but a long ride home if it blows up
