    I very very rarely backwind, I now always set my clutch on the light side and just use my finger to give extra pressure if required. I much prefer FD reels to RD.

    I’ve seen the odd angler it’s probably only 50 yards from where the Wreake meets the Soar. Plenty of fish can be seen cruising on the top not sure but probably dace or rudd ? It’s on a club ticket...
