    Use a bowl that the riddle will sit on, (I bought a Ringers bowl for £8), riddle to your heart’s content and then transfer from bowl to your bait box. Life is too short, I cannot afford an errant...

    A quick Google reveals that modellers have used Dettol for stripping paint from plastics for years. There is just the right amount of caustic soda in the solution to act as a very gentle stripper...

    No prob, should get the reel next week, it’s cost has gone up, Dettol @ £3-50 a bottle, no other brands work apparently.

    That’s exactly where I saw it and having just bought a wide drum Speedia that looks rather sorry for itself, a Dettol bath is in order.
