Yeh on that side of the St.Michaels bridge it is a bit desolate to say the least.
Not many features or cover.On the other side of the bridge,going upstream,
its like a tropical paradise,well...

Hi Mark,I fish the Wyre every week,either the WAA or St.Michaels AA beats.
Its a lovely stretch of river but can be real hard work too!!.

Its just carpers always seem to have those bloody big 42" triangular nets
with spreader blocks or whatever and I don't want any grief for using a 30"
net.

Yeh its actually written on the rod,the 290g must be the total weight and I
can only pressume the 560g is the weight of the loaf at the end of the rod!!
