    used them a fair bit in the past and they've been ok...stack them high sell them cheap springs to mind, they're ok till things go wrong

    I did fish your stretch a few years back and it was terrible but I also fish Hereford a lot and you don't see many canoes through the town center..is there a reason for that?

    my experience with hyper sensor to normal was not good, its good to fish with and behaves itself but testing it with big fish and weed it just wasn't durable enough compared to standard sensor so...

    Surely not on the Thames Jim, take a week for the float to move 30yds.

    Same as Sam, DH pro float... Wouldn't use float fish now at all and defintly not sensor, that can stay on the ledger rods

    I have both cadence rods and acolytes... both very good.

    I think you need to look at where you will be fishing and what for. Drennan don't do a proper river rod for the likes of the severn or wye....

    whitty...what you are seeing is the same I got practicing for fishing matches on a gravel pit in the spring. the pike would sit under the platforms, watch you swing a fish in and soon as you put it...
