    I use Shiman Aero and Maxima, both decent lines, Also have reel spooled up with Preston Innovations line another with Sensor,
    I would say the shimano is the best of the lot.

    I had the cavalier rod, caught a 7lb barbel on it from the River Bollin in Lymm, mid 80,s I would say, brilliant rod for silvers as well.
