    Mike, try putting some oily glug or sunflower oil on the dog mixers you set aside for hookbait. The hookbait one will stand out like a sore thumb at distance.

    Re Idlers Quest and punching out discs. Have a look for Drennan Flake Punches if they still do them. They do exactly that in different sizes but pear shaped. Very good way of fishing bread.

    I stepped outside with the intention of silvers on my new accy at my reservoir. HA HA! The wind was too high to make it enjoyable so the carp gear was quickly convened.
