Fished the Bridgewater yesterday. Same spot as before about 2 miles east of Lymm. Arrived around 7 and went clothed for a coolish day but was stripping layers off by 8. Changed tactics by fishing the...
  4. Re: What can I do about an assortment of old unmarked line?

According to this http://www.autexrj.com/cms/zalaczone_pliki/2-06-4.pdf it takes a very long time in full daylight for nylon fibres to deteriorate significantly. In the short to medium term they...

Re: Best all rounder 8lb mono ?

Normally when you cast out the line untwists. When you pull off the baitrunner or drag it doesn't, so the twist that was on the reel is on the cast out length. When you wind in it effectively twists...

Re: Weighing in my landing net?

Plenty of people use the Korum ones without any problems. So long as you don't expect the adapter to take the full weight of a big fish horizontally. It would be expecting a lot of the handle anyway....

Re: Weighing in my landing net?

Sadly not! I think ~13lb was the biggest on the small Prologic adapter. I think the handle would break before the adapter.

    I have these Mike:

Most of which there are two of so unless we go decorating the trees with them we should be OK - assuming they're suitable.

No idea but tastes and smells are basically chemical reactions which are affected by temperature. Beer has to be the right temperature. Too cold and it has little to no taste, too hot and well......
