Re: What made you return to fishing?

For me that was an intention to recover, combining something I love and a necessity. Plus, that was a fantastic physiotherapist. Plus, that was FM.

So, in regards to my spouse I am in a solid...

    Re: Drop shotting in summer

It's in essence an unobstrusive, delicate rig. Now bear in mind you can use a drop shot or heavy drop shot rig, with one or more soft lures. Also imagine lures of different sizes on the same line....

  5. Re: Where will you go and what Tackle will you use when........

It's not something I can complain about when doing the oxford canal. Perhaps its not the most prolific UK canal, but the towpath is so narrow and the canal overall as well, that there's no huge...

    Re: How was your Season?

That's right, it is time to have a thought on our season.

The season for me has been heavily impacted by different factors, all new and utterly unexpected:
    1/ health
    2/ brexit (my micro business...

    Cinnamon

Earlier today I could again see how cinnamon can boost a groundbait (in this case, liquidised bread, when fishing for roach). Last summer, I had read a page somewhere on bream fishing that listed it...

Re: How did you get on?

Hello! Finally I went out this morning, at least a day that appeared to be good enough to be outside. That is, not too windy, not too cold, and a sun that is able to warm up the heart (not the...
  15. Re: if you could fish ANYWHERE in the world for 2 weeks???

For a 2 weeks in a row, I'd choose FREEDOM.
I would either go down in Belgium and fish for trout or barbel on free waters.
Or, I would buy a simple national permit that covers 90% of French waters,...

Re: How did you get on?

Simple report from me. Yesterday I was up on the canal (which anyway would be the only place at the moment).
So windy! Even a 30 gr feeder and a strong tip didn't let me fish correctly.
    The stretch...

Re: Spinning on a standard rod?

With your rod which is not a spinning one, use a lure that doesn't require a specialised rod. You won't be too exotic because there are as many spinning rods as there are lure families. A perfect...
