Fishing at Church Cove near the Lizard Cornwall

In the next couple of weeks I'm spending a week at Church Cove.
Is this area any good,I would really like to try for mullet or bass on lures. Any help would be welcomed.

I was there in March and lost a lure within 5 mins. Unfortunatly had to stop as with family. Tide was out & I wasn't in a position to access the surrounding rocks.
I think there was an article in Sea Angler some months ago but I think it was more about bait fishing. It sounds promising.
Try giving Newtown Angling a call. They are a couple of miles west of Porthleven but I've found him really nice and helpful. He'll also put you on to some other marks around there.
