Hi everyone,

I'm from Essex, have been fishing seriously for about a year now, used to fish when i was a teenager but just mucking about with a waggler and maggots.

Have got loads to ask and find out, but thats for another day..

Essex isn't a bad place apart from Colchester. And most of the other towns/cities. The villages are pretty nice though especially in the north of the county.

Anyway, good to see folks coming back to the sport. Have to say, this is the best fishing site I've seen. only found by accident as I'm a member on bikemagic.

i'm about 15mins drive from Harlow...

Essex is becoming the catfish capital of the country........apparantly.

i've not really got out there yet and tackled em, have just been getting some decent gear together and learning my skills at a local lake, before i make a muppet of myself.
