Fishing the Thames

I live in central London and have heard that there is good fishing to be had on the river. While thinking of heading further west when the season begins again Chiswick, Kingston etc) I wonder whether it is worth a cast further in town (Pimlico, Chelsea etc.) Has anyone fished there? Can anyone offer advice on fishing the Thames? Many thanks in advance.

the Thames throughout london and the city has plenty to offer. On calm days try fishing just below the surface.

The Thames is a Mix of fresh water & Sea species.
