Fishing in France ?

Hello to all,
I'm a french angler. I live near of Paris but I fish mainly in the Loire river near of Orleans.
I will be happy to shared experiences with anglers that use england methods, by example feeder fishing, in french rivers or lakes.
I will be interested to know fish reactions with unsual baits here like luncheon meat or other.

Hello Cyril. I've fished some of the rivers in the Loire Valley and had a wonderful time catching carp, ide and bream. My experience was that they reacted to English feeder fishing tactics and baits just like our own fish do where they are not under too much pressure. Most of the French anglers I saw were fishing short poles from boats and catching small fish. They didn't seem interested in targeting the bigger fish and therefore they were easy to catch with most types of conventional float, feeder and leger methods.
