Thule Boxes

Nothing but praise for Thule - all their products are top notch. remember to use DECENT roof BARS not racks with any box (which by coincidence Thule make!). I've carried bikes, boxes and surfboards at the same time and never had a problem. they will cope with more than the car roof! might look expensive, but think about the cost of a rodbag full of rods - and if it comes off and hits someone, your insurance aint gonna cover you......

I totally agree with Dave.

I used a Thule Ski box for years when I lived in Norway to take my rod holdalls and especially nets to and from matches.

If you really want to give yourself a headache then go ahead and make an estimate of the rods, poles etc. in your holdall. The cost of a secure transport storage system is negligable by comparison.
