We have fishing magic caps, but what about a fishing magic sew on cloth badge. Just the sort of thing to put on your jacket or fly fishing vest.

How about it Graham?

No. How about a FM proper shirt in olive green with a proper collar and a nice logo on the breast pocket.

Something you could also wear a tie with.

Something that looks really classy and avoids the yob culture.

You mean Les you actually want to support the yob culture?

John asks:

"What's a tie?"

Well, if you are Chris Yates then it is an essential piece of your fishing ensemble.

But if you were a member of the yobbo culture then you would probably use it to hold up your trousers, like compo in Last of the Summer Wine :)

Oh I don't know Ron, how about organising a "traditional" day on the Avon for say late summer?

Split Cane rods and centrepin reels and a "traditional" dress code.

A days fishing followed by a traditional English style pig roast and decent real ale back at my place.

Any takers?

.....just so long as I don't have to buy a tie for the occasion.

I could probably rustle up a cravat.

Don't mind the tie so much, it's expected of us at the Hotel, we must look smart.

It's using all that crappy old tackle. You could always use the split cane rods and star back reels as tinder for lighting the bar-b-q I suppose. Just about all they are fit for.

Peter, it would be even better if you could turn the Avon into the river it was 50 years ago as well!!!
