I was pleased to see that Fred Buler had published another PIKE title until I saw the price. What are Medlar Press doing, printing to order?
?39.50 for 169pp and no colour plates is taking the P.

Sorry Roy but books like this produced by Medlar do not need colour plates. I have a few books by this company and they are wonderfully produced, often with illustrations by top class artists.

These are not books for everyone. More like collectors items.

Personally I love Medlar's products - worth every penny.

That's it exactly, they're limited editions, destined to become collector's items. Okay if you can afford it.

At ?39.50 for cloth and ?110 for leather I'd
say that 'Limited Edition' is about right.
I worked in book publishing for 30 years and still think that they're taking the P.
