can anyone give me a clue on how to fish it all iv'e been told its about 40 meters wide

Hi Robert, very small feeder (tape to allow maggots to trickle out), block with groundbait, 12" hooklength 1 1/2lb BS to size 18-20 hook, DO NOT fish any heavier or you'll not get bites, cast to middle of canal, expect roach/perch to 4oz, and occasionally, bream to 5lb, chub to 2lb, no groundbaiting or loose feeding necessary.
