Has anyone had any success other than the odd barbel on boiles,I know the chub love the smaller boilies,

None will be sticking to the pellets again this year. Might give the halibut bollie a go I have also go some hemp that might be worth a try.

about 90% of my barbel are caught on boilies.

I only change to another bait if I need to (e.g. bright sun/clear water/particles)

Rik what do the majority of anglers on your stetch use? On mine its the pellet which is why i think bollies struggle a little. Or i am just crap at fishing them or selecting the right one's.

I know one or two lads who fish with them on the Ribble, but I can’t remember which ones they use other than they were a brown colour and they also used a gunk? Bit of a pointless replay really without being able to tell you what they are!!! I’m bored but it’s almost time to pack in work and then it’s off to the river. GREAT.
