gentlemen,we are less than four hours away to the start of another river season.may i wish each and every one of you the very best if you are out tonight,unfortunately i cannot blag a sickie so my campaign will have to be put on hold until friday.once again the very best and lets have a good 'un

I went for a few hours before work this morning.
Got to the river at 4.30, fishing by 4.45, packed up by 6.45 and off to work.

Couple of knocks, but nothing positive, except the kingfishers and the baby swans
(and 8 billion gnats)
