Great fishing

Just got back this Sunday (13.06.04) from two weeks in County Mayo with the other half. We enjoyed some great sport including one day's charter boat (just the two of us and the skipper) out in Killala Bay, where we caught 11 different species of fish. Four not very productive days on Lough Conn (lack of rain meant it was very low compared with its usual depth at this time of year - hence deteriorating fishing) numerous days sea trout fishing in and around the Moy estuary, Lacken and Killala, all but one of which produced a number of excellent sea trout, both on fly and sand eel.

All in all a very pleasant two weeks, with only two days sightseeing!
