Superb fishing at Berny Riv, ?185 for 2 for a week in a chalet, including crossing!! Heaven...Anyway back to your post:
1. Mix qtr Swimstim Betaine Green groundbait with qtr Silver X Dynamite groundbait and qtr Sensas 4mm crushed Marine Halibut pellets with final qtr of same said pellets not crushed and sweetcorn.
2.Bang out a large korum method feeder with aforementioned groundbait, short 4-5 inch hook lenght, size 8 hook tied direct to 6lb Diawa Sensor monofil with sweetcorn hookbait and dont let go of the rod...they sometimes take on the drop at 30ft out!!
They being double figure carp and oddly enough bream upto 3.5lb...BUT be wary of latching on to the odd double figure Sturgeon that decides it wants to be an Exocet missile for the remainder of the day!!
3. Fish from 3pm onwards, dusk most productive
)..all other times seem to be wasted...unless you go down and fish the river and go sven bashing!! but again be wary of the clams chomping through your line..take plenty of feeders.
4. ENJOY..it was superb fishing...no favourite pegs... all just as good.
