Free spirit

Hi, I've just acquired a Free Spirit 12ft 11/4 lb tc rod. I bought it for a song off a guy who didn't know anything about fishing.It looks a decent rod but personally i've never heard of them, so does anyone out there own/fish with/used to own one???? I'd be pleased to hear your opinions. cheers all.

i've tried one out once and it seemed a pretty good rod, but it belonged to a friend of mine so i only got to play for an hour or so.
